The homes
The plans
Nearly every house is single-story. The original plans are small: 932, 944 and 979 square feet with three bedrooms and one bath, and a group of plans around 1,300 to 1,400 square feet with two baths. The lots are large for the size of the houses, so many have been added onto; recent sales include homes of 2,076 to 2,300 square feet.
The streets
The streets are named for flowers and trees in Spanish: Calle Tulipan, Calle Pensamiento, Calle Jazmin, Calle Clavel, Calle Margarita, Calle Nogal, Calle Durazno and others. Thousand Oaks High School is on the west side of the neighborhood.
Names in listings
