Starlight Ranchos is a small area in north Thousand Oaks near the former University Elementary School site on Atlas Avenue, on Arcturus Street, Sirius Street, Sirius Circle and Venus Street. Its core is about 22 homes built from 1958 to 1961 on lots of about half an acre; the area on this map also takes in some later homes on Venus Street and Atlas Avenue on standard lots. The original Starlight Ranchos homes were built from 1958 to 1961 on lots of about half an acre, on Arcturus Street and Sirius Street. They were built individually rather than from shared plans. The homes on Venus Street and Atlas Avenue are later tract homes on standard lots.
