Country Vista is about 270 attached and small-lot homes built from 1978 to 1984 at the south end of Oak Park, west of Kanan Road near the Agoura Hills line. Homes are about 980 to 2,090 square feet: single-level two-bedrooms of 980 and 1,048 square feet, and two-story plans of 1,294 to 2,090 square feet, most often 1,462. Lots are about 1,700 to 3,900 square feet. Recent sales were $670,000 to $905,000.

Country Vista was built in three tracts. The first, about 60 homes on Rosehedge Lane, Sparrowhawk Lane, Meadowlark Lane and Mimosa Court, went up in 1978. The second, about 64 on Conifer Circle, Camelia Lane, Rockrose Lane and Stonehaven Lane, in 1979. The largest, about 150 on Via Novella, Via Del Caballo, Estrellita Lane, Vista Dorado Lane, El Azul Circle and the Calle streets, from 1980 to 1984.
The single-level two-bedrooms are 980 and 1,048 square feet. The two-story plans run from 1,294 square feet to about 2,090, with the 1,462-square-foot three-bedroom the most common.

Recent sales show dues of about $595 a month in the 1978 and 1979 sections, and $661 to $840 a month in the 1980 to 1984 section. Ask which association covers a unit, what the dues pay for and how the reserves are funded.
Schools
Country Vista is in the Oak Park Unified School District. The elementary school depends on the street: Brookside for Conifer Circle, Sparrowhawk, Camelia, Rosehedge, Meadowlark and Mimosa; Red Oak for Via Novella, Via Del Caballo, Vista Dorado, Estrellita, Calle Mirador, El Azul and Calle De Las Ovejas. Middle school is Medea Creek and high school is Oak Park High. Confirm the assignment for a specific address with the district.
