Foxmoor Estates is a tract of about 100 mostly single-story homes built from 1975 to 1978 on Thornhill Avenue, Briarglen Avenue, Kerryglen Street, Bridgegate Street and the lower part of Valecroft Avenue, north of Foxmoor on the Ventura County side of Westlake Village. The homes are about 1,400 to 2,250 square feet on lots of about a quarter acre, and dues are about $55 a year.

The homes
The streets
Foxmoor Estates was built in the mid-1970s on the gentle slope north of Foxmoor. Thornhill Avenue and Briarglen Avenue hold most of the homes, with Kerryglen Street, part of Bridgegate Street and the lower blocks of Valecroft Avenue. The two-story homes on upper Valecroft, Shadowglen and Castleview are Ridgeview Estates, a separate neighborhood.
The homes
No plan sheets are on file. Nearly every home is single-story, most of them about 1,500 to 1,650 square feet with three or four bedrooms and two baths; the largest are about 2,250 square feet.

Schools
Foxmoor Estates is in the Conejo Valley Unified School District. Listings show Westlake Elementary, Colina Middle School and Westlake High School; confirm the assignment for a specific address with the district.
Getting around
Bridgegate Street leads to Westlake Boulevard and the 101 in a few minutes.
What to check in a 1970s home
Check for original supply lines, Zinsco or Federal Pacific panels, single-pane windows and aging roofs. A sewer camera inspection is worth doing.

4 sales between September 2024 and June 2026 ran from $1,220,000 to $1,799,000, with a median of $1,274,000. The 1,605-square-foot four-bedroom sold for $1,238,000 in June 2025 and $1,220,000 in June 2026; the top sale was a 2,252-square-foot home on a 14,643-square-foot lot on Thornhill Avenue.
How it compares
Foxmoor, below, has two-story homes with a pool and greenbelt at a higher median. Ridgeview Estates, above, has larger two-story view homes. Foxmoor Estates is one of the best supplies of single-story homes on quarter-acre lots on this side of Westlake Village.
