Where Oak Valley is

Oak Valley streets and how the tract is laid out

Medea Valley Drive is the spine. It enters from the west end of the tract and curves south and east, and Rock Tree Drive, Agoura Glen Drive, Rock Vista Drive, Parkheath Drive and Valley Heights Drive branch off it. Valley Heights Drive runs along the top of the tract and Parkheath Drive sits just below it, so the two northern rows back onto the Oakpath Drive frontage. The lots are regular and close to level by the standards of Agoura Hills, mostly an eighth to a fifth of an acre, and the layout is a single connected loop system rather than a grid.

Where the Oak Valley boundary runs

Oakpath Drive is the northern boundary. Everything south of that street is Oak Valley; the attached condominium buildings north of it belong to Annandale/Whispering Pines, and the outline on this page is drawn to that line. Agoura High School and its athletic fields close the tract on the east, the Kanan Road commercial strip and its parking closes it on the west, and open land and the Chumash Park frontage sit below the southern edge.

Living in Oak Valley

Parks, trails and everyday life in Oak Valley

Chumash Park sits at the southeast corner of the tract, and Agoura High School is immediately east, which puts the football field, track and tennis courts within a short walk of most of the streets. The Kanan Road shopping centre on the west side of the tract carries day-to-day errands, so a good deal of ordinary life here happens without getting on the freeway.

Commuting from Oak Valley and getting around

Kanan Road is the way in and out. It meets Thousand Oaks Boulevard just north of the tract and reaches the Ventura Freeway a little under a mile to the south, which is the interchange most residents use. Agoura Road and Canwood Street run parallel to the freeway for local trips east and west.

Schools serving Oak Valley: district, elementary, middle and high

Agoura Hills addresses are served by Las Virgenes Unified, and Agoura High School shares a boundary with the tract on the east. The elementary and middle school assignments for these particular streets are not confirmed in any source Gary Jacobs has been able to verify, so check the address against the district locator before you rely on it.

Oak Valley home prices and the market

Oak Valley home prices and the current market

The figures in this section were current when this guide was last reviewed. The sale record in the facts above and the listings below are drawn live from the MLS each time the page loads.

In the two years through April 2026, only one home sold through the MLS, at $925,000. Over the last five years there are two closed sales: $1,093,000 on Rock Vista Drive in March 2023 for a 1,874-square-foot three-bedroom, and $925,000 on Valley Heights Drive in April 2026 for a 1,355-square-foot three-bedroom. A third, on Rock Tree Drive, is in escrow at a $975,000 asking price. Two closed sales is not a trend, and the gap between them reflects a difference in size and condition as much as anything about timing. What the record supports is a band roughly between $900,000 and $1,100,000 for a three-bedroom of original size, and little more than that can be said honestly from three transactions.
