Trentwood is a community of attached homes built from 1994 to 2000 on Swanfield Court, Heatherbank Court, Crombie Court and nearby streets, inside the Sherwood Country Club guard gates at Lake Sherwood. The homes are about 2,000 to 3,800 square feet on two or three levels. It is in unincorporated Ventura County with Westlake Village or Thousand Oaks addresses.

Trentwood was built in the mid-to-late 1990s as the attached-home section of Sherwood Country Club, inside the same staffed gates. Swanfield Court, Heatherbank Court and Crombie Court hold most of the homes.

No plan sheets are on file. The sales record shows a two-bedroom of about 2,254 square feet, three-bedrooms of about 2,835 to 3,300 square feet, and four-bedrooms of about 3,281 and 3,758 square feet, on two or three levels.

Associations
Owners pay the Sherwood master association and a section association. Combined dues on recent listings range from about $780 to $1,466 a month, and some listings quote them quarterly. Ask for both sets of documents and the reserve studies. Golf club membership is separate.
Schools
Trentwood is in the Conejo Valley Unified School District. Listings show Westlake Elementary, Colina Middle School and Westlake High School; confirm the assignment for a specific address with the district.
Getting around
Potrero Road runs east to Westlake Boulevard and the 101, about ten minutes away.
What to check in a 1990s townhome
Original HVAC systems, water heaters and windows are due or already replaced. Multi-level plans mean stairs throughout. The CC&Rs spell out what the associations maintain.

6 sales between February 2025 and June 2026 ran from $2,100,000 to $3,850,000, with a median of $2,700,000. The 3,758-square-foot plan on Heatherbank Court sold for $3,850,000 in July 2025. One 3,281-square-foot home sold for $2,300,000 in October 2025 and, after a remodel, for $3,135,000 in June 2026.
How it compares
The detached homes of Sherwood Country Club, inside the same gates, sell for about $5,000,000 and up. Sherwood North Shore and Meadows at Sherwood, outside the club, have detached gated homes for less. Trentwood is the lowest-priced way to live inside the Sherwood Country Club gates.
