Sherwood North Shore is a gated neighborhood of about 65 homes on Ravensbury Street and Cricketfield Court, above the north shore of Lake Sherwood in unincorporated Ventura County. Most were built from 1993 to 1995, in plans of about 2,200 to 3,900 square feet, and many look down to the lake. It is outside the Sherwood Country Club gates and has its own association.

The neighborhood
Sherwood North Shore was built in the mid-1990s on the hillside above the north shore of the lake. Ravensbury Street holds most of the homes, with Cricketfield Court off it. Lots on the lake side of Ravensbury Street, looking down to the water, sell for the most.
The homes
No plan sheets are on file. The sales record shows a single-story plan of about 2,222 square feet with two or three bedrooms, a two-story plan of about 3,005 square feet, and three-level plans of about 3,777 and 3,887 square feet with four bedrooms.

The association
The association maintains the gate, the private streets and the greenbelt. Dues were $725 to $761 a quarter on recent sales. Ask whether the home has any lake access or lake association membership, and what it costs.
Schools
Sherwood North Shore is in the Conejo Valley Unified School District. Listings show Westlake Elementary, Colina Middle School and Westlake High School; confirm the assignment for a specific address with the district.
Getting around
Potrero Road runs east to Westlake Boulevard and the 101, about ten minutes away.
What to check in a mid-1990s home
Original HVAC systems, water heaters and windows are due or already replaced; check tile-roof underlayment. Unincorporated Ventura County handles permits. On hillside lots, check drainage and slopes.

9 homes sold between October 2024 and August 2026, from $1,795,000 to $3,445,000, with a median of $2,500,000. The 2,222-square-foot single-story sold for $1,795,000 and $1,875,000. The three-level homes of about 3,800 to 3,900 square feet sold from $2,395,000 to $3,445,000, with lake-view lots at the top.
How it compares
The Glen, nearby, is a gated neighborhood of 2000–2001 homes at somewhat lower prices. Sherwood Country Club, around the golf course, is guard-gated with much larger homes. Sherwood North Shore offers lake views at Lake Sherwood at a lower price than the club.
