Malibu View Court is a single loop. It gates off Kanan Road at two points along the north side and runs east, and the houses sit on both sides of it on lots of about an acre. At the east end a private drive carries on toward the Wagon Road side of the hill, which is where Medea Valley Estates begins. There is no through traffic: the loop serves only these houses.

The outline follows the built lots on Malibu View Court. Kanan Road closes it on the north, the ridge and open land close it on the south and west, and on the east it stops short of the Medea Valley Estates gate, which is a separate tract of 22 lots on Wagon Road and Castle View Road. Everything outside those two gates along Cornell Road and Countryside Drive is mapped as Cornell.

Both houses in the record are large by any standard in the area: 7,400 square feet built in 2005 and 7,768 square feet built in 2004, each with five bedrooms and five or six bathrooms, on lots a little over an acre. Listing copy for the current offering describes a French-inspired estate and notes mountain views, and the 2022 sale was described as newly renovated at the time. Beyond those two files, the specifications of the other houses on the loop are not confirmed in any source Gary Jacobs has been able to verify.

Cornell is the old ranch country south of the freeway along Cornell Road and Mulholland Highway, unincorporated county land between Agoura Hills and the Santa Monica Mountains, with Paramount Ranch and the Rock Store as its landmarks. Malibu View Estates sits at the northern end of that area, close enough to Kanan Road to reach the freeway quickly while still being surrounded by open hillside on three sides.

Kanan Road is the only access. North it reaches the Ventura Freeway in a few minutes; south it continues over the mountains to Pacific Coast Highway as Kanan Dume Road, which is the route to Malibu. Everyday shopping is back up in Agoura Hills along Kanan Road and Agoura Road.

No homes have sold through the MLS here in the last two years. The one closed sale in the last five years was $5,850,000 on Malibu View Court in August 2022, for a 7,768-square-foot five-bedroom on 1.09 acres, after a $6,495,000 asking price. A second house on the loop is listed now at $4,950,000, and the same address also carries a lease listing at $30,000 a month. One closed sale cannot establish a trend, and the gap between the 2022 sale and the current asking price reflects two different houses rather than a movement in the market. For anything more reliable than that, the wider Cornell and Malibou Lake record is the better guide.
