The homes

The neighborhood

Meadows at Sherwood was built as a gated neighborhood of family homes in the late 1990s, at the entrance to Lake Sherwood on the north side of Potrero Road. Its streets carry English place names. Lots at the ends of the courts and against the open space are the largest. The Glen, a smaller gated neighborhood from 2000–2001, is next door.

The homes

No plan sheets are on file. The sales record shows single-story plans of about 2,222, 2,548 and 2,782 square feet, and two-story plans of about 3,139, 3,341 and 3,561 square feet with four or five bedrooms.

The association

The association maintains the gate, private streets and common areas. Dues were $745 to $875 a quarter on recent sales. Lake Sherwood itself and the Sherwood Country Club are separate, private associations.

Schools

Meadows at Sherwood is in the Conejo Valley Unified School District. Listings show Westlake Elementary, Colina Middle School and Westlake High School; confirm the assignment for a specific address with the district.

Getting around

Potrero Road runs east to Westlake Boulevard and the 101, about ten minutes away.
