Braemar Townhomes is a gated community of about 230 two-story townhomes built from 1986 to 1992 off Lindero Canyon Road at the east end of North Ranch, next to the detached Braemar tract. The homes are about 1,650 to 2,490 square feet, most with three bedrooms. With this many units, it is the busiest townhome market in North Ranch.

Braemar Townhomes was built in six phases between 1986 and 1992, each with its own group of streets behind the gates. The townhomes are in rows and clusters with attached garages and private patios, around greenbelts.
The homes
No plan sheets are on file. The sales record shows a handful of sizes: about 1,645, 1,819, 2,057, 2,267 and 2,372 square feet, all two-story. The most common size is about 1,819 square feet—a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath plan.

The association
The association maintains the gates, building exteriors and roofs, the grounds and greenbelts. Dues differ by section and were $654 to $771 a month on the 2026 sales. Ask for the budget, the reserve study and the master insurance policy.
Schools
Braemar Townhomes is in the Conejo Valley Unified School District. Listings show Westlake Hills Elementary, Colina Middle School and Westlake High School; confirm the assignment for a specific address with the district.
Getting around
Lindero Canyon Road runs south to the 101 in a few minutes. Oak Park is a short drive east.
What to check in a late-1980s townhome
Original furnaces, air conditioners and water heaters are due or already replaced. The CC&Rs spell out what the association maintains and what the owner does.

How it compares
Kensington Park, nearby, has gated townhomes built a few years later at somewhat higher prices. Clubview and Fairgreen, beside the golf course, cost more. Braemar Townhomes has the most choice and the lowest prices among the gated townhomes of North Ranch.
